1 down out of 8

I had my first chemo therapy today. I'm on the combination of 2 different drugs, Adriamycin and Cytoxan for the first 4 sessions and Taxol for the rest of 4 sessions. It's every other week so my last session will be in the last week of May.

Since it was my first time, my oncologist, nurse and other staff took extreme good care of me by providing all information and advise I need. They gave me this blanket and matching pillows today. Volunteer people make those with different fabrics for cancer patients and I picked this. Isn't lovely and cheerful? It's great to know there are so many people who are supportive even though we don't know each other.

My chemo girlfriend had her 7th session today as well. We sat next to each other and we were just chatting away. I'm soooooo relieved that I finally got this started. I was waiting for starting this chapter.
