Taxol started.

Last Thursday (April 17), I had my first taxol treatment. I was anxiously waiting for the side effects to come over the weekend. My body was a bit achy but it wasn't bad until Sunday night. I had a bad headache when I went to bed and also when I woke up Monday morning. Since this is my first treatment, I wanted to see how it progresses, so I stayed home. My body was stiff because of pain and I didn't have much appetite. I slept a lot. I felt tired until Tuesday morning.

Now, I don't have any body pain but I'm suffering from allergy! I've never had any allergy... My immune system is weak. I can't fight. ugh.... Overall it's still better than previous side effect.

A week after My sister went back to Japan, I had my 4th treatment. (April 3) This is the last one with this chemo drug. I have 4 more sessions with different drug(Taxol) which has milder side effects.

Tax season is almost over. (Thank God...) I don't wear my wig at work. I wear a scarf like this, instead. It's more comfortable. My boss and I have told many of our clients about my medical situation during this tax season and it made my work a lot easier. It is just amazing how many of our clients told me their personal experiences. I wouldn't have known about their situation if I weren't going through this right now. And it's very encouraging to know they are all going healthy and strong.
